2. What we collect
The quote form collects your name, email address, phone number, the location and status of your plot, the design and build type you are interested in, a budget range if you give one, and any message you write. If you go ahead, we also hold the site address, contract documents, drawings, payment records and correspondence about the build.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your request and prepare a quote, at your request before a contract.
- To design, build and hand over your house under our contract with you.
- To keep the records required by HMRC, Building Regulations and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
- To protect the website and the form from misuse, as a legitimate interest.
We do not use your details for marketing and we never sell them.
4. Who we share it with
Only the people needed for your project: our structural engineer and designer, the planning authority and Building Control body when we apply for you, the structural warranty insurer, and our email, hosting and accounting providers. Councils publish planning applications, so the plot address and drawings become public at that stage.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted after 12 months. Contracts, drawings and warranty records are kept for 12 years after handover, the period in which claims about building work can be brought.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. We reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
